Roblox has announced new updates made for the safety of its younger users.
– The company behind Roblox , an online video gaming platform and game creation system, has announced new updates made for the safety of its younger users., the Roblox Corporation said these new updates will improve safety for users and introduce new easy-to-use tools for parents and caregivers to better have control and clarity over their children’s activities on the platform.
Some of these updates include changes in how users 13 years old and younger can communicate with other players. Additionally, new parental controls are being implemented that will allow for parents and caregivers to monitor their children’s’ screen time from their own devices instead of the ones used by the children.The company said it has built strong safety mechanisms over the course of two decades and continues to evolve them as new technology develops.The recent changes were made after internal research, including interviews, studies and international surveys with children and parents.
