Comedian robinthede Signs Overall Deal With Warner Bros. TV:
has signed an exclusive multiple-year overall deal with Warner Bros. TV Group.
Under her first-ever multiple-year deal, Thede will develop new content for streaming outlets, premium and basic cable and broadcast networks. The deal extends Thede's relationship with Warner Media, for whom she created, exec produces and stars in HBO's. The series, which counts Issa Rae among its exec producers, is up for outstanding variety sketch show at next month's Emmys.
The series, on which she serves as showrunner and writer, has already been renewed for a second season. In addition to the sophomore run of her HBO show, Thede is currently writing featurefor HBO Max and Michael B. Jordan's Outlier Society banner. She recently appeared in the fourth season of HBO'sHer credits also include the critically acclaimed BET showThe Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore.Thede is repped by WME and Del Shaw.
Thede joins a roster of talent at Warners including Greg Berlanti, J.J. Abrams, Ava DuVernay, John Wells and Matthew Cherry, among others.
