Robin Padilla has called on Filipinos to do their part in the battle against COVID-19 instead of just complaining and criticizing the government.
“Ramdam na natin lahat sa ating mga tahanan ang unti unting pagkalimas ng ating mga savings at hindi ito problema lang natin buong mundo ang suliranin na ito,” Padilla said in an Instagram post on Aug. 3.
In the same post, Padilla said many Filipinos still can’t accept the fact that the country is at “war” not only against the pandemic but also against other pressing issues like poverty. “Laban sa mga mananakop ng ating mga isla at ngayon laban sa mga maiingay sa lipunan na kapapanganak lang sa usapin ng pagka rebolusyonaryo ay naghahamon na ng kaguluhan,” he added.
