Robert De Niro's grandson's cause of death at 19 revealed by his heartbroken mother
The 19-year-old sadly passed away earlier this week and his mother, Drena De Niro, 51, confirmed the news on Instagram as she said goodbye to her 'beautiful sweet angel'.
She wrote on Instagram: "Someone sold him fentanyl laced pills that they knew were laced yet still sold them to him."The heartbreaking news of the 19-year-old's passing came as a shock to the family, who were quick to pay tribute to Leandro. His grandfather Robert De Niro then shared an emotional statement and said that he has been left "deeply distressed" by the loss of his grandson.
