Leandro De Niro Rodriguez's mother announced the sad news as she paid tribute to her 'beautiful sweet angel'.
Drena De Niro, the daughter of Hollywood actor Robert and actress Diahnne Abbott confirmed the death of her "darling boy" in a heartbreaking statement on July 2. "You were so deeply loved and appreciated and I wish that love alone could have saved you I'm so sorry my baby, I'm so sorry @carlosmare. Rest in Peace and Eternal Paradise my darling boy."
The 19-year-old had followed in his family's footsteps and appeared in films such as A Star is Born in 2018. He also appeared in 2005's The Collection and 2018's Cabaret Maxime.
