A robbery suspect was shot and killed after allegedly grabbing a police officer’s gun inside a precinct in Quezon City, police said.
While the suspect was under booking procedure inside the Police Community Precinct 1, he suddenly grabbed the firearm of Investigator Juderick Latao.
Witnessing the ensuing scuffle, Latao’s colleague, Police Maj. Jun Fortunato had no other recourse but to neutralize the suspect by shooting at him. The suspect was brought to the nearest hospital but was declared dead upon arrival. Recovered from the scene was one fired cartridge case.Your subscription has been successful.
