The idea of traditional saunas and infrared saunas are the same—to heat up the body so as to produce various results for wellbeing—but their methods are quite different. As opposed to traditional saunas that rely on heating the air, infrared saunas use infrared light to penetrate the body more deeply and directly, allowing for a more comfortable experience that’s easier to recreate at home.
