Regina-born Seattle Kraken right-winger Jordan Eberle has had plenty of reminders of his previous affiliations in recent days.
Following the 2010 world junior event, Eberle returned to his hometown of Regina and applied the finishing touches to a remarkable four-year run with the Pats.
From 2017 to 2021, Eberle played right wing for the Islanders before being claimed by the nascent Kraken in the 2021 expansion draft. “But this organization treats you so well and so does the city. So do the fans. It’s hard not to like it here. On top of that, you see the commitment from our general manager to add players and put money into the team to win, and it’s contagious. So it has been a lot more enjoyable this year.”
