Rob 'The Rabbit' Pitts, the star of Netflix's “Tex Mex Motors,” died on Sunday, his representatives announced. He was 45. The reality television star and CEO of Pitts Truck Service was diagnosed with stomach cancer in March while filming season 2 of 'Tex Mex Motors,' according to a video entitled 'This Is Goodbye,' posted to Pitts' YouTube page Sunday night. Prior to his diagnosis, Pitts was losing his appetite and having 'acid reflux-like symptoms.
Pitts' 'Tex Mex Motors' costar, Marcos 'Scooter' Carrera, posted about the news on Instagram. 'It’s with a heavy heart that I write about the passing of my cast member & friend ROB ‘RABBIT’ PITTS,' Carrera wrote. 'Rest In Peace Brother, I’m going to really miss you!!!' The comment section of the video was filled with fans remembering Pitts as a great storyteller. 'Someone perfectly described Rob’s voice as 'honey poured over gravel'.
