The Otium Spa aboard the Silver Nova takes relaxation and luxury to a new level and it's a great way to indulge your senses while Roadtrippin'.
ship is already designed to take the worry and stress out of a vacation, but after a long day of port excursions or ziplining through the Tongass National Forest, that little bit of extra physical relaxation is always welcomed.is one of those quiet, elegant spaces where you can get a variety of treatments, from acupressure to manicures, massages to facials.
“They request mostly of the massages,” said Janice, massage therapist on board the Silver Nova. “They’re most interested also in the massages, because after their flight, after the excursion roaming around everywhere, mostly people are tired, especially from walking. So mostly, the first thing that they want to do is to have a massage. But of course, they also don’t forget the skincare and the beauty.
“My favorite thing is, like, when I see my guests already relaxed, because most of them, they all come to me with all the concerns,” Janice said. “Pain here, pain there, pain everywhere. But the moment that I saw them after my treatment ... they don’t think about anything else.” The treatments in the spa do cost extra, but the steam room and the sauna — with the most amazing view ever — are included for Silver Nova passengers, as well as a warm pool to relax in, making your time on board even more relaxing.
