Last year’s championship game turnout was the third-largest for a UTSA game in the Alamodome, and on Saturday Traylor implored fans to be"shooting for the record" of 56,743 for the program’s debut game in 2011. The injuries to Brady and Sharp appeared to be more severe. Brady hyperextended his left elbow as he braced his arm against the turf at the end of a run, then watched the second half in street clothes with his arm in a sling.
Even after the Roadrunners fell behind by 24 points in the second quarter, the majority of the seats remained full.
