Sarawak deputy police commissioner Dev Kumar says movement from Simunjan to Sri Aman via the Triso ferry or Jalan Serian-Sri Aman are not allowed.
Sarawak deputy police commissioner Dev Kumar said this followed the decision by state disaster management committee to restrict movement between Zone 1 and Zone 2 .“Movement between the Kuching, Padawan, Samarahan, Simunjan, Serian, Bau and Lundu districts is allowed, without the need for a police permit.
However, Dev said exemptions would be given to those on official duties, essential service workers, those paying their respects to family members who have died, visiting family members who are critically ill, and those seeking medical treatment.
