In Scottish Water's latest update, bosses revealed that Glasgow Road and parts of Auchenhowie Road will remain closed to ensure the safety of the staff and members of the public. A statement read:"Due to the extent of the damage caused, it is expected that following the completion of the repair, we estimate 10-14 days for the full reinstatement and removal of traffic management and local diversions.
"However, as our reinstatement progresses we hope to be in a position to scale back on diversion routes.READ MORE: Earlier today, we reported that water supplies were restored to more than 100,000 properties affected by the burst pipe.
