Bantuan Sara Hidup recipients will receive an additional RM200 now and RM100 in May.
The aid is in addition to the RM20 billion economic stimulus package announced on Feb 27 to mitigate the impact of Covid-19 in Malaysia. A total of RM500 million will be allocated for the discount, which is expected to benefit 10 million households and commercial, industrial and agricultural users.Muhyiddin said an additional RM200 will be given to recipients of the Bantuan Sara Hidup programme. The payments will be brought forward from May to today. A sum of RM760 million will be allocated for 3.8 million BSH recipient households.
