KLANG: An additional allocation of RM21.1mil has been set aside for the reinforcement of slopes at the site of the Batang Kali landslide.
Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said this was after a comprehensive report regarding the deadly incident was presented to the state executive council.
He revealed that guidelines would also be drawn up on the running of commercial activity at such areas in the state. On Dec 16, last year, a massive landslide occurred at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite, killing 31 people including children.
