KUANTAN: Visitors to Rahmah Ramadan Bazaars stand a chance of receiving a RM20 incentive through ewallet platforms involving a total allocation of about RM2mil, says Deputy Domestic Trade and Living Costs Minister Fuziah Salleh.
This incentive, she said, would be given to the first 1,000 visitors at selected bazaars through operators or providers of ewallet platforms working in collaboration with the ministry.
“Apart from helping to reduce the cost of living, the move is to educate and get the community to shop with ewallets to make way for a cashless society,” she was quoted by Bernama as saying after a programme in conjunction with Ramadan at the farmer’s market here yesterday.
