The discounts vary from $1,000 to $5,000 depending on the specific R1T or R1S model
The new discounts are only offered to select Toyota , Jeep , Ford, BMW , and Audi owners. Shoppers should be aware that they'll likely be able to sell their used vehicles for much more than Rivian will give them with a trade-in. Eligible vehicles include the Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and BMW X3. Rivian has celebrated Earth Day by announcing a trade-in incentive for the R1T and R1S that will provide eligible shoppers with a discount of up to $5,000.

The offer is available to residents in the United States and Canada. In the U.S., the R1T Standard and Standard+ Pack are offered with a $3,000 discount, while in Canada it is CA$4,500. The R1T Large Pack is offered with a $4,000 discount in the U.S.
