Rivian will most likely end 2024 producing fewer vehicles than last year.
The carmaker expects to end 2024 having built between 47,000 and 49,000 vehicles. Rivian was originally expected to build 57,000 vehicles this year, the same as it made in 2023. Supplier issues are partly to blame for the slowdown. Rivian deliveries fell in the third quarter, and the electric automaker has slashed its production targets for the rest of the year. Rivian will likely end 2024 producing fewer vehicles than last year.
