Deputies seized 1436 marijuana plants, 54 pounds of processed marijuana, 2 unregistered firearms, and over $11,000.00 in cash.
Four people were arrested Thursday, March 7, after sheriff’s deputies served search warrants in San Jacinto, Hemet, and Pomona and recovered 54 pounds of marijuana and hundreds of illegal plants, along with guns and cash, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
Deputies served the warrants in the 100 block of Dillon Avenue in San Jacinto, the 42000 block of Thornton Avenue in Hemet, and the 1000 block of 1st Street in Pomona. Four people were arrested: Alirio David Vivas-Garcia, 38, from Hemet; and Los Angeles residents Domingo Guarchaj, 28; Manuel Tabriz, 33; and Francisco Guachea-Tabriz, 28. All four suspects were booked into the Smith Correctional Facility on suspicion of narcotics-related offenses, Thursday’s statement said.
In addition to the arrests, authorities said they seized a total of 1,436 marijuana plants, 54 pounds of processed marijuana, two unregistered firearms, and over $11,000 in cash.4 Southern California midday radio DJs were taken off the air.
