Persistent floodwaters in Bulacan have made it hard to tell in one barangay where the road ends and where the river begins.

In a "24 Oras" report by Cedric Castillo on Wednesday, Barangay Taliptip in Bulakan town on the Manila Bay coast has been rendered near-inaccessible by vehicle due to the floods, which have remained even after both Typhoon Egay and Typhoon Falcon have left.

At the end of the barangay, the floodwaters make it difficult to tell which part is still the road and which part is now the river, or even Manila Bay. “Ayan po, marka ng tubig, halos bewang ko. Oo ngayon pa lang eh, lalo na pag lumalaki,” said resident Florentino Alejo, pointing to a watermark on his wall.
