River Island's £32 clutch bag looks just like £600 designer version

Shoppers wanting to get their hands on designer looks without the hefty price tags will love this clutch from River Island

Retail giant River Island is selling a handbag that looks almost identical to a designer one. The Cream Knot Detail Clutch Bag, £32, looks remarkably similar to the Musubi Mini Crossbody Bag from Acne Studios which has a price tag of £600.

There are obviously some differences between the two items, along with the similarities. One being that the chain for both bags are completely different styles and materials. The River Island bag features a gold metal chain, that makes it the perfect evening out bag, while the Acne Studio bag has a long leather cross body strap that is more suited to a day trip out.

On the River Island website, the product is described as featuring a 'knot detail', a strap which is 'detachable' and a 'clip top fastening'. The bag from River Island also comes in a sliver colour which would make an amazing accessory option for a prom or even wedding.
