Rivals, set in 1986, will delve into the world of independent television. And with a series tackling the excess and drama of the TV landscape, Rivals also boasts an ensemble cast of the industry’s huge names, including the likes of“Set against the backdrop of the drama, excess, and shocking antics of the power-grabbing social elite of 1980s England, “Rivals” delves headfirst into the ruthless world of independent television in 1986,” the synopsis reads.
The series is produced by Happy Prince, which is part of ITV Studios. Executive producers are Dominic Treadwell-Collins, Alexander Lamb, Felicity Blunt, Laura Wade, Cooper, and Lee Mason. No exact release date has been set yet for Rivals, but it was announced that it will debut on Hulu in the United States and onSony Pictures has released the trailer for Here, Robert Zemeckis’s upcoming drama starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright.
