Bang & Olufsen has collaborated with the yacht builder Riva on two new nautical-inspired speakers: the Beosound A5 and Beosound 2 Riva Edition.

The $2,599 A5 is a portable speaker with a handle, making it ideal for carrying between rooms or from your yacht to your land-based property. Navy-blue aluminum is wrapped in a mahogany and maple veneer, handmade by Riva’s craftsmen in Sarnico. The locking pins on the hinges feature Bang & Olufsen’s logo, as well as a pop of aquamarine blue that nods to the nautical nature of the collab.
As for the specs, the A5 comes with 360-degree sound dispersion and top-of-the-line sound quality, ensuring that you’ll be able to hear your music from anywhere on board. Notably, the speaker touts IP65 water resistance, and it has 12 hours of battery life with wireless charging built in.The $5,499 Beosound 2, meanwhile, is a solid aluminum speaker that’s double anodized in navy blue, with the grille lines precision-milled onto the device afterward.
This isn’t the first time Bang & Olufsen has collabed with one of the best companies in its field.
