As more people experiencing homelessness populate the Jordan River Trail in Salt Lake City, safety is becoming a rising concern.
The temperatures are rising, and people are beginning to explore the outdoors.
“Yeah, I feel safe," said Cortney Tarver, a Midvale resident who frequents the Jordan River Trail. “I walk down this trail every day."However, as more people experiencing homelessness populate the Salt Lake City area, safety is becoming a concern for many there.
