Morula did not have a lengthy national team career, but it is worth mentioning that he was part of the Bafana squad that represented South Africa during the World Cup held in France back in 1998. “He was shot dead at around 19h30 in Mmakau last night. He was shot five times and the bullet went through his bakkie,” says the lanky ex-midfield man, talking to KickOff.

“We have lost a true legend. Remember he was the first player from Brits to play in the World Cup in 1998. He remained active with Masters here in the North West. We want to make sure we give him a dignified funeral.”
