Ringo Starr took a tumble on stage performing 'Give Peace a Chance,' but the former Beatles drummer took the moment in stride: 'I fell over to tell you that.'
Fortunately, Starr appeared to be okay and took the moment in stride, popping up quickly and heading to the microphone to sing the chorus. He followed up a round of "give peace a chance" by joking, "I fell over to tell you that."Starr sang a little and then left the stage before the song ended. Prior to the encore, he and his band played for about two hours.
So far there have been no indications that Starr's spill will affect his current tour, which is slated to run through Oct. 13. Representatives for the musician didn't immediately respond to EW's request for comment Friday.
