Ringo Starr has called off the last two shows of his fall tour on doctors' orders after coming down with a cold.

and his All Starr Band have canceled the last two shows on his North American summer tour after the former Beatle came down with a cold.

The two shows were scheduled to take place tonight, Sept. 24, in Philadelphia and tomorrow, Sept. 25, in New York City. Ticket holders can seek refunds at the point of purchase. “Ringo has come down with a cold and after consulting a doctor he was advised to cancel these two remaining shows and get rest,” a note on the drummer’s Instagram page read. “As always, Ringo and the All Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them soon.”Starr and the All Starr Band have spent a good chunk of the year on the road, playing dates around the West Coast and in Mexico during the spring amidst an ongoing run of shows at the Venetian in Las Vegas.
