Analyst expects ringgit to stay weak due to likely hawkish stance by Federal Reserve.
KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit saw little change against the US dollar at the close today as investors remained on the sidelines due to a lack of fresh catalysts.
From a technical standpoint, he noted that the local currency is in an oversold condition, suggesting that further downside risks for the ringgit are limited. At 6pm, the local note stood at 4.6745/4.6795 against the greenback from Thursday’s close of 4.6755/4.6795.
