Mate Rimac has been defying expectations for a decade and a half - time to celebrate the fact
It’s been some journey for Mate Rimac and his eponymous company. It was only as recently as 2011 that the Croatian was EV swapping an E30 3 Series. Yet here we are, not much more than a decade later, with the 36-year-old as CEO ofand the company he formed in 2009 working with Porsche, Hyundai, BMW, Renault, Jaguar, Aston Martin, SEAT and Koenigsegg. An impressive 15 years by anyone’s standards. Maybe even unprecedented. So here’s the Rimac to celebrate.
Mechanically the car is unchanged from the standard Nevera, though nobody is likely to take issue with that given the Rimac set 27 performance records in 2023 and is capable of 256mph.
