Saskatchewan Roughriders are handing the ball over to QB'sJake Dolegala, Mason Fine and Shea Patterson for their first pre-season game.

“Obviously everyone’s tired and you get to the dog days and these are the days that kind of separate teams that are good and great,” said Harris.

“There’s only one ball,” said Dickenson. “Frankie and Ja-Mo aren’t going to play much at all that first pre-season, so we really want to give the three rookies as much action as we can that first game and hopefully one of them separates and shows us he can be a guy to keep around.” The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Satterfield originally joined the club ahead of the 2020 season before it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He attended training camp with the Riders in 2021.
