A new behind-the-scenes video for Rick and Morty season 7 reveals how the recent, strange "Jerricky" episode ended up becoming a reality.

In the episode, Jerry and Rick swap bodies, only for both of them to die and Rick's medical robot to rearrange their minds within their bodies. This results in the new Rick and Jerry becoming best friends as they take on a group of alien gangsters.
In the video, series creator Dan Harmon explains the idea behind the mixed body swapping in the episode. Writer James Siciliano also revealed how the characters' combined body, "Jerricky," was designed.
