Astley might boast one of the most varied age demographics of any 80s pop star thanks to the popularity of the internet trend ‘rickrolling’ which became popular again during Covid-19 lockdowns. While releasing his lead single for this 9th album, titled Dippin’ My Feet, a fundamentally upbeat summer song, Astley detailed further information about his upcoming tour.Rick Astley will perform at Glasgow OVO Hydro in Finnieston next year as part of his UK tour. The show will take place on February 24.Astley will also be joined by special guest star and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Belinda Carlisle.
Carlisle was the lead vocalist for the Go-Go’s as well as releasing a billboard number one song in Heaven is a Place on Earth.Unfortunately, pre-sale tickets are no longer available. Fans had to pre-order the new album by 7 pm on Tuesday, June 20 for pre-sale tickets going on sale at 9:30 am Wednesday, June 21.
However, the general access sale becomes available for fans from 9:30 am tomorrow, Friday, June 23 via the Ticketmaster website.Astley performs at the OVO Hydro on February 27, 2024, the only tour date in
