From his standout set at Glastonbury, the St Helens singer comes back to Merseyside
The St Helens singer will now end his 2023/24 tour in Merseyside on Thursday, March 7. The Liverpool date will feature appearances from Belinda Carlisle and Scouting For Girls.
It comes after his highly acclaimed Glastonbury set in June this year which saw Rick opening Saturday’s festivities in style with a triumphant performance which mixed crowd-pleasing ‘80s classics alongside some typically classy covers, and then later that day, his latest show with Blossoms as they teamed up for a set of classic songs by The Smiths.The news also comes in the build-up to the October 6 release of his ninth album ‘Are We There Yet?’.
Rick said: "I am so excited about the release of ‘Never Gonna Stop’, the second single from my forthcoming album ‘Are We There Yet?’ I love the vibe of it and I hope you love it too." Rick Astley’s ‘Are We There Yet?’ tour commences with two sold-out shows at the Royal Albert Hall in November, before he embarks upon a run of arena shows next year. Tickets for the shows are already available, but tickets for Liverpool go on sale on Friday, September 15 at 9.30am.The arena tour features an array of special guests: Belinda Carlisle ; and The Lottery Winners ; The Feeling and Scouting For Girls .
