SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY When the patriarch of the Richards family, Stephen , dies suddenly, his two estranged families are brought together for the reading of his will.
In the trailer for Riches, we first meet Nina and Simon, who have been estranged from their father since 1993, when he announced he had a new family. Upon his sudden death, they're called to London where Stephen announces from beyond the grave via a taped will that he has left all of his shares of Flair & Glory to his estranged children, giving them control of the company.
Riches joins the rich catalog of streaming series on Prime Video. It joins a powerful slate from the streaming platform for 2022 including successful series such as Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and The Boys. With season 4 of Succession expected in the Spring of 2023, audiences will find Riches whets the appetite for a drama about the rich and powerful struggling for control of their family's legacy.
