The Richardson ISD school board has set the 2022-23 academic calendar.
Richardson ISD’s 2022-23 academic calendar will begin Aug. 16 and end on May 26.Spring break is set for March 13-17, according to the calendar adopted by the Richardson ISD school board on March 7.
The district surveyed the community for input on the calendar and received more than 4,000 responses, interim Superintendent Tabitha Branum said during the meeting.“The main reason for that is that Jan. 2, because it falls on a Monday, is being observed as a federal holiday, in observance of New Year’s,” Branum said.More
