Texas school district has shown that banning phones in classrooms benefits everyone.

Anyone who has ever been in a room of teens staring mutely at their phones can appreciate the experience of too many teachers these days.

Teachers and administrators have been relieved of the “bad guy” duty of enforcing phone rules because all phones have to be locked up in a pouch during the day. Meanwhile fights, bullying and other negative consequences of constant phone use have diminished.Richman reported that last year Lake Highlands High School had “a 42% decrease in out-of-school suspensions and an 8% drop in in-school suspensions.
