Early this year, the 16-year-old Malixi flew the flag in the Australian Master of the Amateurs in Melbourne, where she reigned supreme with a seven-under 285, beating India's Avani Prashanth by one shot.In Washington, Chanettee Wannasaen, chasing her second LPGA title, closed with a birdie to seize a three-stroke lead after third round of the Dana Open.The 20-year-old Thai fired a five-under par 66 to stand on 16-under 197 after 54 holes at Highland Meadows in Sylvania, Ohio.
