Sonja Morgan was married to John Adams Morgan from 1998 to 2006 and share one daughter
Sonja, 61, and John’s only child, daughter Quincy Adams Morgan, confirmed his passing via her Instagram Story on Friday, February 7.
Quincy noted that she “took a break from work to navigate this loss” and was grateful to her manager for reconfiguring her schedule so she could be “present with my family.” John comes from a long, historic line of influential men. He was a descendant of U.S. presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams as well as Charles Francis Adams III, who was the U.S. Secretary of the Navy under President Herbert Hoover.
The late banker was married five times. He wed Elizabeth Robbins Choate in 1953 and the couple welcomed a son, John Adams Morgan Jr., before divorcing in 1957.
