Former independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. will remain on ballots in the pivotal swing states of Wisconsin and Michigan.

Kennedy’s attorneys tried to argue that his name could be stickered over to avoid voters casting ballots for him, a suggestion that has also been rebutted by Michigan and Wisconsin’s election officials. Since dropping out of the race in August, Kennedy has encouraged his supporters to not “waste” their votes on him and backed Trump along with his sprawling legal efforts to be removed from ballots entirely.
