Jacques Nienaber's replacement as Springboks head coach has been unveiled and it's a familiar figure in South African rugby.

Since then, there’s been widespread speculation as to who the new Springboks head coach will be and recently the whispers grew louder that a return to the top job was on the cards for Rassie Erasmus, the man to led South Africa to the 2019 World Cup title and who played an influential role in the team’s successful title defence under Nienaber in 2023.
