.NQ64ArcadeBars has a new home - and it's massive

Born in 2019, NQ64, the arcade bar concept with neon-splattered drinking dens, was quickly welcomed into the fold here in Manchester.

Downstairs, fan favourite games including Guitar Hero, Pac Man, Street Fighter and Time Crisis, sit alongside nostalgic games from childhood and classic consoles including SNES, MegaDrive, Gamecube and PlayStation, but the bigger space means NQ64 can now expand its offer with 'pop-a-shot' basketball games, four-player PacMan, even a dedicated ' GameBoy wall known as 'Wall Boy', devised by console manager Shaun Campbell, which elevates the game to a large screen.

Over at the main bar, they're serving up some fresh game-themed cocktails like the Power Star Martini - a twist on a passionfruit martini - the Dr Ro Bev Nik, a cherry Old Fashioned, and the Kong Island Iced Tea, inspired by Donkey Kong. There's also a selection of craft beers, wines, spirits, sodas and non-alcoholic cocktails, as well as a bunch of old-school childhood favourite snacks such as Space Raiders and Monster Munch.

The super-sized beach party twists on NQ64 favourites include Super Mega Daisy, a fruity spritz with gin, Aperol, orange, lychee and prosecco, and Burnout Paradise - a take on a rum punch with flavours of grapefruit, passionfruit and mango.
