SIBU: A retired civil servant in Limbang lost more than half million ringgit in a Macau scam.
Sarawak Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief, Supt Maria Rasid said the 60-year old woman lost a total of RM516,000.
She was then connected to a man who identified himself as a police officer from Kuantan, Pahang, who accused her of receiving RM200,000 from an account which was used for illegal activity.
