A retired San Bernardino County sheriff’s sergeant has been accused of murder after his cellmate at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga died of injuries he suffered in an attack, the Sheriff’s Department said.

His cellmate, 67-year-old Michael Kevin Follet of Yucaipa, was questioned and arrested Oct. 13 on suspicion of murder.
