Zimmerman, who has lived in the city for more than 30 years, works as a senior consultant at a civil engineering consulting firm, according to his candidate biography in the city’s election guide. He was elected in 2016 to be mayor, and his upcoming term will be his final one as he is term-limited. Ferguson received more than 5,790 votes from those who cast their ballots early or on Election Day, and Lobue got over 1,220 votes, according to the unofficial results.
