PHOENIX — El martes fue día de votación en Arizona para laTal y como se predijo, el presidente Joe Biden y el expresidente Donald Trump, cada uno ganó la contienda de sus respectivos partidos.
No hubo suspenso sobre el ganador, pero algunos electores demócratas escogieron enviar un mensaje al presidente Joe Biden sobre la política de Gaza por medio de una protesta de voto por la autora Marianne Williamson. Mientras que, en el lado republicano, se vio mucho apoyo hacia la exgobernadora de Carolina del Sur Nikki Haley haciéndose notar la debilidad del expresidente Donald Trump.Stephen Richer, director del registro de documentos públicos de Condado Maricopa y encargado de la elección, publicó en X que para las 8 p.m. “todas las boletas que se entregaron temprano ya habían sido escaneadas, se había verificado la firma, se habían procesado y tabulado”.
