Darth Vader couldn't have killed Ahsoka...
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT A new Star Wars theory suggests Darth Vader couldn't have killed his former apprentice Ahsoka Tano, something the upcoming Ahsoka show may soon confirm. As seen in the Star Wars Rebels animated series, Ahsoka faced Darth Vader on Malachor, her fears being confirmed after damaging the Sith Lord's helmet to reveal the face of her old master Anakin Skywalker.
In Star Wars Rebels season 4, Ezra discovers the Force netherworld known as the World Between Worlds, a cosmic realm that gave him to access alternate points in time and space. This included Ahsoka's past duel with Vader witnessed through a portal that also allowed Bridger to save Tano by pulling her into the realm rather than falling to her death and Darth Vader ultimately killing her.
Keeping that in mind, Ezra's restoration of the past was saving Ahsoka via the World Between Worlds, allowing her to live on once she returned to her own timeline in the aftermath of the Sith temple's destruction. However, the redemption of the future is a little more unclear. That said, there are two possible answers with both potentially being true in relation to the greater Star Wars continuity.
