DAVAO CITY – A 28-year-old woman in Valencia City, Bukidnon province became the 41st confirmed case of coronavirus disease in the city after getting exposed to a customer who dined in their family-owned restaurant.
In a statement on Sunday morning, the City Government of Valencia said the patient from Barangay Bagontaas was exposed to a customer, who was from Manolo Fortich town, on August 13. The customer only tested positive for COVID-19 on August 17. Valencia City currently has 10 active cases. The City Government said the woman and those in close-contact with the customer voluntarily submitted themselves to the City’s Isolation Facility on the same day for evaluation and monitoring.
