Under-fire Penang leader hits out at people ‘inside and outside DAP’ working against him.
Penang chief minister Chow Kon Yeow has urged everyone in DAP to unite behind him and allow him to get on with his job.
Without any context, he also reportedly said that while he was chief minister, he had yet to “pass the test” to remain chief minister. When asked what the issue had to do with his position as chief minister, he said: “I am, after all, the CM. Hence, I’m responsible for all issues.” Chow went on to say that with that support he could focus on implementing goals set under the Penang 2030 Plan.
