Residents told to prepare to leave as fires burn south-west of Brisbane

Emergency services say no properties are at risk, but have warned conditions could get worse quickly.

Helicopter crews are water-bombing at Mundoolun, where a large fire is burning at Eugenie Court and travelling towards King Coolum Reserve. Two fires are burning at Flagstone, near Jimboomba, and Mundoolun, Birnam and Veresdale Scrub near Beaudesert QFES said the fire would "likely impact the community later today" and residents near the Undullah Nature Reserve and the Railway Line, including Flagstonian Drive, should prepare.
