Two Kentucky residents have filed a lawsuit against a plant following a large explosion that resulted in widespread property damage and at least two deaths.The LawsuitEdward Roberts and Ana Carolina Gomez Bridge filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Givaudan Flavors Corporation and its parent company, Givaudan U.S., alleging negligence in connection with the November 12 explosion at the company's plant.
The ExplosionEarlier this month, the explosion at the Givaudan Sense Colour resulted in the deaths of two workers and left 11 others injured. The blast also caused a partial collapse of the facility, which manufactures colorings for food and beverages.The explosion shattered windows in dozens of homes near the plant with the force of the blast cracking drywall and knocking pictures off walls.
